Basic Handguns 
$135 Per Person

This is an 8 hour class designed to the give the shooter a comprehensive understanding of handguns.  We will cover the different types of handguns and what is recommended for an individual.  Firearm safety and use of firearms based on the individual need.  Nomenclature, sighting system, and ammunition will be covered in the class.  Grip, stance, reloading the firearm and clearing malfunctions will be explained during live fire.  Cleaning of the firearms will be included at the end of the class.


What to bring to class:

200-300 rounds of ammo is recommended. (The more you bring, the more you shoot)

At least two magazines for semi-auto handguns and speed loaders for revolvers.

Eye Protection (will have some on site if you don't have any)

Hearing Protection (will have some on site if you don't have any)

Food for lunch break

Water (enough to last the entire class)

Wear appropriate clothing based on the weather

CCW Renewal Class
$200 Per Person

This class is intended to refresh students on proper holster presentation and safe firearm handling. Additionally, we review any changes to laws applicable to conceal carry in the state of California. 4-hr CCW renewal training is required every 2 years by your issuing agency. You are required to complete the shooting qualification with each gun you wish to list on your CCW license. Please bring enough ammunition to both practice and qualify.

The cost of the class is $135 per person. This does not include the student range fee, payable to the office at time of check in.

Private Handgun Lessons
$140 per person 

Are you new to handguns?  Do you have a handgun in your house that you want to learn to shoot?  Learn how a gun works, Learn gun safety,  Shoot 100 rounds of ammunition.  Let Gunlady teach you in a comfortable learning environment how to use a handgun.  It doesn't have to be a stressful experience; it can be fun and relaxing. 


Don’t have a handgun or not sure what to purchase.  Information and give advise will be given on your future purchase.  Have a handgun bring it and we will teach you how to use it.   


You provide: good attitude, an open mind and 100 rounds of ammunition.  We will teach you to shoot a handgun.


This is one-on-one or small group training session.  Students cover the Range fees and price per person is $140.00 for a 2-hour class. Range fees average $7-$20 dollars.

Home Defense
$135 per person 

The Introduction to Defensive Handguns Course is designed to educate the student about the handguns that are best for personal defense and how to use them efficiently in the context of a home defense scenario.


This course is designed specifically for those new to firearms, but experienced shooters who are interested in learning specifically about using a handgun for personal defense in a home defense environment may also want to attend.  This comprehensive course takes place at a live fire range where students will be introduced to the fundamentals of defensive shooting. Students will learn about various firearms types and the distinct advantages that some have over others with regard to defensive use. 


Students will be introduced to the most important shooting skills and have the opportunity to develop their competency in the context of a "home defense" shooting situation. Fundamental Home Defense Tactics, Responsible Defensive Firearms Storage and dealing with Law Enforcement Response will also be covered.


This course is designed to take 5-6 hours, depending on class size.  Students will need to bring 200 rounds of ammunition and should bring their defensive handgun, if they own one, and three (3) magazines. 


The cost of this class is $135.00, a small price to pay to learn how to protect yourself in your own home. 

16 Hour CCW Course
$320 per person 

16-Hour CCW Course


There are a lot of choices when it comes to picking an instructor to provide your Carry Concealed Weapon training. As a student you should be asking the potential instructor what their training class entails.  No one every wants to encounter a violent situation, however you owe it to yourself to receive training that will help you handle the situation as prepared as possible.  Gunlady’s goal is to provide you with training that prepares you to not only carry your handgun with confidence in the worst-case scenario, yet also give you a proper mindset for using your handgun in a self-defense situation.


If you take a class with Gunlady, be prepared to get 75-80% hands-on training.  Be prepared to not only learn how to handle your handgun physically, learn how to handle your handgun mentally.  Mandy provides training to the students in all the classes and especially CCW training that works with what the body does naturally and how to use those reactions efficiently in a Dynamic Critical Incident. 


The cost for the 16-hour class is $260, which does not cover the range fee.  Class size is limited to 10-12 students, to provide personalized attention and training to each student. 


Each student will need to bring approximately 400-500 rounds of ammunition. The more ammunition you bring the more hands on training you will be able to receive. A student can qualify with up to 3 handguns per their permit.  The qualification course is decided per your county, which is excluded from your ammunition count for the class.  

Intro to Defensive Shooting 
$135 per person

Intro to defensive shooting is offered to give prospective students, with limited time or resources for a full 2 day Combat Focus Shooting course an idea what the course covers.

This course is a 5-6-hour day of intense training, teaching and practice.  The course will cover the following topics: Fundamentals of Defensive shooting & Intuitive skill developments.   Materials needed: Working handgun and reliable holster, 3-4 spare magazines, Eye & ear protection.  300 rds of ammunition for your gun.  If you don't have a gun, contact me for use of a gun and holster.

If you are looking for a class that will introduce you to holster work, then this is a prefect class for you.  New to a CCW, however didn't get the time needed to get comfortable with working with a gun and holster.  This is the class for you.  Not sure what class to take after Fundamentals of Home Defense, here is the next step for learning to protect yourself.  

Carbine 101

This class is geared towards a firearm owner or anyone looking to learn how to use the AR-15 platform safely, effectively and reliably. 


Course Objectives:

 A basic understanding and operations of the AR-15 rifle.

 You will learn how to dissemble and reassemble the AR-15 rifle.

 You will learn how to perform basic maintenance on the AR-15 rifle.

 Discover how to get a “zero”. The class also includes zeroing at the Indoor Shooting Range.



This is an intro course; the goal isn’t to train you for combat or competition. Our goal is to provide the student with the information and skills needed to work the AR-15 platform, keep it working and do it well. The AR-15 platform is a tool.   Use it in conjunction with a home defense plan effectively or as another “tool” option.


Needs and Equipment:

 2 magazines (minimum)

 250 rounds ammunition.
